I'm coming back to motherland! Woot!

This shall be my last post from Melb till 2 weeks later! Hehehe... I'm so excited to see everyone. Gosh how i miss everything in Singapore! But at the same time, i'll miss mah too. Well, something's gotta give. Hahaha..

It was actually really funny cos 2 weeks is really a short time but last night's party felt more like a farewell. Haha.. how funny is that! It does feel like a farewell to Mah kinda...

Anyways....... this trip back i do have a purpose. And i hope God reveals to me and confirms stuff in my heart. Its gonna be heart wrenching and exciting but i can spare the drama. I'll give an update abt it when im back again.

I realised i had "Mighty to Save" as a title before. LOL! Cos this song struck me today... I can't remember my last mighty to save post but i may have pasted lyrics. Anyhooz, i'm still gonna do that.

This spoke to me because...
- He is so compassionate and merciful to me

Fulfilling Your Purpose.

I had dinner with Lynn and Jim just now. Was telling them about my purpose and calling in Melb. This TGIF freaking hit the mark! It is incredible... so scary!!!

I was sharing about my purpose here and how i should complete it before i leave. How God spoke to me about His plans for me after i Grad. How i am scared of what is to come. How I should do what God has asked me to do already and not procrastinate and be rebellious. What are the measures i am taking to move towards that. Evaluating what are the activities that wastes time. What really counts.

This whole TGIF sums up everything! Like seriously mad shit!!!!

"O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD" (Ps 139:1-4).

Your purpose in life is chosen by God. It is not negotiable. It is like calling water wet-there is no changing that fact, and there's no changing God's purpose for your life. While you may not fulfill the purpose for which you were made, you still have a purpose that God intends for you to fulfill. This is your blueprint from God. In the same way that He had a specific purpose in mind for Jesus when He sent Him to the earth, He has a specific purpose in mind for your life.

This doesn't mean, however, that there is one highly specific niche for you to fill and that if you miss it, too bad. It is my belief that you can achieve your purpose in many different and creative ways. This should take the pressure off. You won't throw your entire life off course by choosing the wrong college, job or mate. God is much bigger than any miscalculation or disobedience on your part. "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me" (Ps. 138:8). Isn't that comforting to know?

Defining your purpose will help you to determine the activities that you should be involved in. Like Jesus, you should not involve yourself in activities that contradict His purpose for your existence. Jesus? purpose was to do the will of the Father and become the salvation for mankind.

Each of us must ask why we are involved in an activity. Is it a God-activity, or just a good activity? Remember, Jesus only did something if He saw the Father doing it, and He was able to see what His Father was doing because of His intimate relationship with Him.

Today, take steps to insure you are aligned with your purpose.

Furball.

This furball has just tamed her mane. Woo!! I had a new haircut with new color and highlights... i'm so happy cos i haven't done my hair in a year!!! that's crazy... So what's new? I have a better cut, shorter fringe, a little trim, some layering done, full head copper base and streaks of strawberry blonde highlights. It looks really reddish orangey now but it should turn darker chocolate after a few washes. Sooo long nvr do hair lo! Recently i everyday have to tie cos my hair like shit... hahaha... tie no more! woot! Actually, this new color makes my skin look fairer... but makes my features look sharper... im cool with anything i guess. Wee!

Let's see, what else... oh, today i was super healthy! I went to the gym, had salad and tuna for lunch, slurped a protein shake i bought from 7-11, had boiled mixed veges for dinner! How awesome huh? Also, i've been taking my vits. I think i deserve some ice cream later! =)

Also, i have been watching DH like mad!!! I'm like halfway thru S5 already! Omg... i'm mad! But also have a lot of free time cos i don't wanna study yet. Exams are next week... but i think i'll wait till the rush and adrenaline kick in.

Wondering how this weekend will be like tho. So many ppl's bdays! Schedule goes like party on friday, spend a day with mah on sat... dunno what we're doing tho.. then on sun its CNY, V Day and Mah's bday. Triple whammy. I'll be spending the arvo with him then he's got family dinner i think. Got it sorta planned out alr.. hope he doesnt doubple plan anything..

Anyways, i'm just happy that i finally got my hair cut~ ooh... also, this hairdresser was from msia then went to singapore to work for ages and was an apprentice under david gan. he also went to london for school n stuff... pretty good and really passionate abt his work. Also, it's sooo affordable! hahahahaaha... =) i'm so happy... hahahhahaa...

i'm officially crazy. sniffing in too much ammonia.

I received a card from SG!!!! So happy... made my day guys! It really did... I love u all and i really can't wait to be back soon. Missing everyone heaps heaps! =)

Mon-Day

What does Mon mean anyways? Y Mon day? Y can't there be a Per-Day?

Today was boring as but guess what, i'm gonna start gyming again!!! I just gymed today and joined membership again. Shall gym tomorrow... and i almost went to work tom when i have class. Lucky i checked my timetable!!! Almost went to work today too when i'm free! lol! Had dinner with my housemate at some malaysian restaurant.. i miss SG food. Funny how i don't eat SG food when i'm there and when i eat more asian stuff here. Not really tho. But yea...

Hmm... Mah sold his car so it's gone for like next 5 weeks or so. Happy for him tho.. but sian for me. Hehe... Oh well.
